Mara Serena Safari Lodge sits atop a bush-covered hill in the Mara Triangle, offering panoramic views of the Maasai Mara savannah and the Mara River. Designed in the style of a traditional Maasai manyatta, the lodge blends authentic African character with modern comfort.

The lodge has 74 spacious rooms and suites, each with a private balcony overlooking the river or plains, decorated with Maasai-inspired interiors and equipped with modern amenities. Guests enjoy fine dining, including bush meals, sundowners, and unique breakfasts by the hippo pool.

Key experiences include game drives in one of the Maasai Mara’s most wildlife-rich areas, famous for black rhinos and the annual wildebeest migration. Optional activities include hot-air balloon safaris and Maasai village visits. Facilities include a rock-enclosed swimming pool, spa and gym, gift shop, and business center, making it a well-rounded luxury safari retreat.

Fig Tree Camp is a luxury safari camp set along the Talek River in the northern Maasai Mara, offering a prime location for exceptional wildlife viewing, especially during the Great Migration. Managed by Mada Hotels, the camp provides easy access to key game-drive areas.

The camp offers 80 accommodation units, including riverfront safari tents, garden chalets, and exclusive Ngamboli tents located in a private wing with sweeping reserve views. A unique highlight is the on-site hot-air balloon launch, allowing guests to take off directly from the camp, along with a scenic treehouse coffee deck.

Guests enjoy varied dining experiences, from a thatched restaurant and open-air deck to romantic champagne bush dinners. The camp features two bars, one overlooking the river for nighttime wildlife viewing. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, spa, medical clinic, and gift shop. Activities range from classic game drives to guided walks, night safaris, and Maasai cultural performances, making it a richly immersive safari destination.

This safari camp offers an intimate and authentic bush experience with 19 permanent tents, all set under traditional makuti roofs and featuring en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, flushing toilets, and private verandas overlooking the plains.

A central clubhouse serves as the social heart of the camp, combining the lounge, bar, and dining areas. Guests enjoy buffet-style meals served in the dining tent or outdoors beneath indigenous trees, along with a well-stocked bar offering African beers and international spirits.

Evenings are highlighted by campfire sundowners, storytelling under the stars, and optional Maasai dance performances. Activities include game drives in custom 4×4 vehicles, guided nature walks, bush breakfasts, and romantic outdoor dinners. Cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages provide deeper local insight. The camp is conveniently accessible, located about 20 km from Keekorok Airstrip, with a short flight connection from Nairobi.
